Money decisions are easier when someone explains them plainly and isn't trying to sell you a loan at the same time. That's what we're for.
What we do
We publish free guides, calculators and a personal money checklist for households in the United States, offer a free downloadable Money Playbook, send The Pennies Letter to people who sign up for it, and are preparing The More Club, a paid membership with live webinars and financial coaching.
What we don't do
We are not a bank, lender, mortgage broker, investment adviser, tax preparer, law firm or credit counseling agency. We don't take loan applications, arrange loans, sell your information, or earn referral fees from lenders. Our content is general education, not advice for your individual situation.
How we keep it trustworthy
- We explain how things typically work and point to the official source, like the CFPB, HUD, the FDIC, the IRS or StudentAid.gov, for current rules.
- We avoid quoting rates and limits that change, and say so when an example is only an illustration.
- We don't publish sponsored content and don't accept payment to mention products.
